These are special resource records for mail routing. An MX (Mail eXchanger) record specifies a domain name and an associated computer, the “mail exchange”, which is able to deliver e-mail to an e-mail address with this domain name.

OS X Mountain Lion changed not only how scrolling works, but if and when scroll bars appear. The issue of natural vs. unnatural scrolling is one that can be successfully argued by either side; in other words, I think it’s a toss-up. But the issue of scroll bars not appearing, or only appearing if you are in the process of scrolling, is a user interface mistake on Apple’s part. Apple may have gone a little too far in its zeal to bring all things iOS to the Mac OS.
You don’t have to live with Mountain Lion’s scroll bar defaults; you can change them to meet your needs or preferences. Continue reading…
A new and improved botnet that has infected more than four million PCs is “practically indestructible,” security researchers say.
“TDL-4,” the name for both the bot Trojan that infects machines and the ensuing collection of compromised computers, is “the most sophisticated threat today,” said Kaspersky Labs researcher Sergey Golovanov in a detailed analysis Monday.

WPF vs ASP.NET
WPF, or Windows Presentation Foundation, is an application used for creating GUI interface for the Windows operating system. It is a one-stop shop for your images, documents, movies, media with their creation, display, and manipulation. It has the capability to manage Windows applications including actions like running, executing, and building them as well. It has been able to clearly define the boundaries between the user interface and the business perspective surrounding it. WPF has been able to manipulate the use of DirectX that has been embedded in its lowest level of architecture to come up with functionalities like animations, 2D and 3D drawings, different audio and video features, fixed and adaptive documents, data binding, and other graphic capabilities. It is based on .NET 3.0 and uses XAML (Extensible Application Markup Language) capabilities by introducing the use of combo-boxes, buttons, etc. as part of the designer.
t’s already well known that Microsoft is giving a go at the world of smartphone development. The Windows Phone 7, the lofty ambitions of becoming the third most popular phone operating system, and a strong selection of smartphone and tablet applications (most notably the Bing apps) present a decently strong face for the company. It seems, though, that Microsoft is branching out. Their most recent development is a photo application that allows users to create three-dimensional panoramas on their iPhone. Continue reading…
Just when its rival Apple has been receiving harsh criticism for demanding a hefty 30 per cent commission from content producers offering payable content, Google has pushed a thorn into its side. Google recently announced that it will ask for the comparatively small amount of just 10 per cent for content sold via its One Pass system.
One Pass will be launched first in the UK, France, Canada, Germany, Spain and Italy and will be compatible with PCs, tablets and smartphones. Publishers will have the freedom to customise how and when to charge a fee for their content.
